Reduced cladding

The thin polyimide coating in combination with reduced cladding diameter gives this fiber a very small form factor, making it ideal for compact systems assemblies. 

Reduced clad multimode fibers is used in, for example, compact sensing systems and cables.

Our line of 80um reduced cladding fiber are ideal for installations in compact systems and for applications where the fiber is bent tightly.

This is a reduced clad optical fiber with options for special coatings. Its high numerical aperture makes the fiber ideal for bend sensitive compact installations.
