Fibertronix Adds New Reduced Clad Fibers to Existing 80 Micron Productline
HUDIKSVALL, SWEDEN 12TH Dec 2010 – Fibertronix, manufacturer and supplier of leading edge specialty fibers, today announced the addition of several new reduced clad fibers to further expand its product portfolio of 80-micron fibers. These fibers will be showcased at SPIE Photonics West show, San Francisco, USA from 22-27th Jan 2011.
The 80-micron fibers are targeted toward compact devices and sensors design operating in harsh environment, offering small size, reliability and tight bend radii. The 80 um cladding diameter allows smaller coil diameters with less fiber stress thereby reducing space requirements.
The 80-micron product range now includes the standard SM, various High NA, MM with polyimide, high temperature acrylate or standard acrylate coatings. These fibres offer an ideal solution for small form factor sensors and devices. Custom fibers with 50um cladding are also available on request.
Typical uses of these fibers include:
- Compact sensors for medical application
- Space-constraint applications
- Coupler and optical devices manufacturing
Fibertronix will be showcasing its specialty fiber products portfolio at SPIE Photonics show. For more information, please visit our booth no 4435 at the show or visit our web site at www.fibertronix.com.
